Then our come and try sessions are for you!


  • ​Two hours session with track used exclusively for 'Come and Try' Sessions
  • ​Sessions separated into age groups
  • ​Only 1-2 karts on track at a time for most sessions
  • ​Structured and progressive sessions
  • ​Throttles initially restricted to 25% and then opened up based on ability

OUR CURRICULUM

Session 1: Stop and Go

  • Starts with comprehensive safety briefing and kart fitting
  • ​​Tests basic kart control - starting and stopping and steering basics
  • ​Successive cones placed further apart to increase speed and stopping skill
  • ​​One person on track at a time
  • ​​Learn how the out-grid and in-grid works

Session 2: The Slalom Run

  • Combines the foundation of Session 1 with left and right turns
  • ​Successive cones placed closer together to increase turning required
  • ​One person on track at a time
  • ​Multiple runs - increasing speed with each one

Session 3: The Big Oval - Basic

  • Higher speed runs and introduction to apexes and basic racing lines
  • ​Uphill and downhill straights joined by double apex corners
  • 1-2 Karts of similar speed on track at once

Session 4: The Big Oval - Advanced

  • Left and right hands turns plus more advanced racing lines
  • Increased speed and opportunity to have throttle increased
  • 1-2 karts on track at once
  • ​Multiple sessions run for those who are still increasing in confidence

Session 5: The Bottom Track

  • More advanced layout for those who have easily progressed through sessions 1-4
  • Another opportunity to have throttle increased
  • 1-4 karts on track matched on ability level
